Sinewave 2011 – What’s next

We have been changing a few things around here. The first one, as you might have noticed, is the new layout, leaner and more readable. We have also done a huge upgrade in our publishing system (it was so deprecated), and now we may play with some few up-to-date plugins.

What we have done so far

- A new Search engine, on the right
- The new Polls feature, with two polls running: we need your vote!
- The new Artists page updated (sort of, still a lot to do)
- The Catalogue, in which we removed the huge list we used to have on our home page to let only the most recent ones, and moved the complete catalogue is this page
- We already had a Twitter plugin, now we have a Facebook one: Please feel free to “Like” us there on the right column

What we still have to do

- Update the Links page (we’ve been meeting so many web friends in these 2.5 years, they do deserve the incoming links)
- Update the Press page
- Review the FAQ as necessary

What’s next

- The return of the Mixtapes
- The return of the Minicasts
- More Podcasts
- More Articles of proper content
- III Sinewave Festival in Curitiba in January 21st
- More festivals in São Paulo and hopefully in other cities in Brazil
- More Album Releases – always

To celebrate these new features, we will launch a promotion in a few days to give away CDs. Stay tuned!

Aos poucos estamos jogando algumas novidades aqui pelo site. A primeira, a mais clara, foi a mudança de layout, por um mais enxuto e legível. Com isso, limpamos algumas coisas que estavam sobrando no site anterior. Fizemos também um mega-upgrade no nosso sistema de publicação (que tava defasadaço), e agora temos liberdade pra brincar com alguns plugins.

O que já temos de novo

- Uma ferramenta de Search, ali à direita
- Ferramenta de pesquisa (as Polls), já com duas perguntas – votem lá!
- A página de Artists atualizada (mais ou menos, tem muita coisa pra fazer ainda)
- O Catalogue, que cortamos aquela lista enorme na home pra deixar somente os mais recentes, e deixamos o catálogo completo nessa página
- Twitter já tinha, agora temos também o Facebook – Mandem um “like” ali à direita!

O que ainda tem que fazer

- Atualizar a página de Links (a gente conheceu tanto site legal por aí, eles merecem os links)
- Atualizar a página de Press
- Revisar a FAQ
